TN glass is the cost-efficient choice with the fastest response. Contrast and colour shift once you move off the specified viewing direction, so it fits devices with a fixed operator position.
400 cd/m² is the bracket most industrial enclosures need: readable under workshop lighting and near a window, without the power draw of a sunlight-readable backlight.
SPI keeps the wiring to four or five lines, which is why it dominates small colour displays on 32-bit MCUs. The trade-off is refresh rate on larger resolutions.
Operating range -10°C to +60°C is a commercial specification. For unheated outdoor use ask for the wide-temperature version of this size.
Touch is optional on this module. We bond capacitive or resistive panels to the same glass, so you can start without touch and add it on a later revision.
